The Young Women Logo:
Just like in the Olympics, the Young Women’s program has a logo that is a torch. It is surrounded by the Young Women motto to “Stand for Truth and Righteousness.” The torch represents the light of Christ, inviting all to “come unto Christ.” It reminds all young women to hold up the light of Christ, and be a good example to those around them.

The Young Women Values:
The Young Women also have a set of 8 values with coordinating value colors to remind them to be virtuous and pure and to live the standards that will help them be happy and reach their divine potential. The Young Women Values are: Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Knowledge, Choice & Accountability, Good Works, Integrity & Virtue.
We made our own version of the Olympic Rings to represent each of the values and their corresponding colors. If you would like the image I created for this just let me know! (I also have cute invitations & programs and would love to share!)
After the presentations we had ice cream sundaes (Mmm!) and I played the olympic theme for background music. Of course I forgot to take any pictures while people were there, but I did remember to take a picture of the board before I took it down. I hung flags from all the countries we rempresent in the young women's. I had to add Canada up there for me, even if I am only half!
