St. George - April 2014 - pt. 1

Over Clara's birthday Grandma Mary, Grandpa Reyn, Clara, Maylee and I went to St. George to visit Josh, Donielle & Jace and Kolby, Tara & Aspen. On the way there we listened to family history stories and searched out ancestor's grave sites in old cemeteries. It was awesome warm weather when we got there and were able to swim outside and go hiking in the red rocks! These girls love playing with their cousins!

I teach Sunday School to the 14/15-year-olds in my ward. The lesson this past Sunday was on keeping a journal. I used to be so good at writing my personal record... Almost daily in high school! Now this blog is about as much journaling as I get to and I haven't posted in AGES!

Clara and Maylee are about as thick as thieves. They are always playing together and cry whenever they're separated. Like all siblings they don't always get along (especially if one has something the other wants) but they also like doing things for each other. Clara always wants to give Maylee her sippy cup and Maylee always makes sure that Clara gets her share of whatever I'm giving out.

Their birthdays were in April but I waited until warm weather to do this session, so it didn't happen until the end of May. The ribbon backdrop inspiration can be found here. It was WAY too much fun!
