It's been a while. Maylee is now walking (finally!) and says "mama, dada, baba, gog (dog), ball, hi, and buh bye." She's been standing since she was 11 months, taking a step or two since 13 months, but now just past 14 months she's legitimately walking. It's so fun to watch her waddle! She and Clara are also interacting a lot together, sometimes a little to rough, but I like watching them play nicely.
Yesterday we started the day at the Hollister breakfast...
Clara & Maylee applauding the fiddler group.
Maylee had fun riding her "pony" all morning.
My hubs is so handsome. I think I'm in love. :)
This girl was Maylee's adopted big sister for the morning. She wanted her picture taken.
They don't think of 6'6" tall men when they design strollers.
Clara's face when we say it's time to go.
We were all really worried when a big rain/wind storm blew into town. But it died down by 9:30, just in time for the fireworks show to get the go ahead!
My favorite firework image of the day:
And a 30 second exposure of the finale!
We hope you all had a fun day celebrating our beautiful country! We sure had a great day! :)
