Hop 2 It

While Jace was here we took the kids to Hop 2 It... I thought Clara might be a bit too young, but I don't think she's ever had so much fun in her life! We'll definitely be going back... Next time with Daddy because I couldn't keep up with the kiddos!

And what does Clara do first thing when we get home?

Why, try out all of her climbing practice on the crib, dressers, shelves, & kitchen counters!
I think she's part monkey... A cute one. With piggy tails.

Clara's Teeth

The morning of May's blessing we had a bit of a traumatic experience in our house. Clara tripped and fell on her chin. She falls all the time from her crazy antics but this time she was bleeding... A LOT! She didn't even hit anything, she just fell on the carpet! When she calmed down a bit we could see that she had chipped her top two front teeth and that at least one of her bottom teeth were loose. Since she calmed down so quickly we just gave her some Tylenol and decided to play it by ear.

She was such a little trooper the whole day and seemed to be hurting but not in severe pain. We got a hold of our dentist (who lives in Dennis' parents ward in Filer) and he just had us come over for him to take a look to see if she needed any dental work done that week. How sweet of him! He said that she didn't need anything for now, that the sharp edges would round off and that we should just watch her bottom teeth for infections. I'm glad she is okay, but I just hated seeing her in pain!

Maylee's Blessing

Maylee was blessed by her daddy on May 27th. It was a lovely blessing. There's something about seeing your husband blessing your new baby that is just so beautiful to me... Even after a crazy hectic morning (but I'll post about that later)! May is six weeks old in these pictures. I can't believe how much she can grow and change in six weeks!

This girl does NOT like to be set down for any reason. She wants to be held ALL. THE. TIME! Even when she's sleeping... She won't stay asleep if I put her down. Anyway, that makes for a difficult time getting pictures of anything but a scowl or a big open-mouth cry!

Her dress was given to her by her Grandma Teri. It came from this Etsy shop where she also got Clara's blessing dress too. There were even little matching ruffle bloomers & socks! Grandma Mary got the little booties & bracelet, and her blanket was crocheted by Lyn Jaynes.

This picture is awesome... It's the only one out of a dozen where Dennis and I look half decent and Clara's got her finger on her nose and May's hand is covering her face. It was really windy too so we're all squinty...
We're the Peters family... Keepin' it real. ;-)

A few randoms...

Clara had her 2 year checkup last week. She measured 85th percentile for height and 30th percentile for weight. That's the highest she's ever been for weight! We're pretty happy about that.

My mom made me a candy bar bouquet for mother's day. Isn't it AWESOME? Anyone that knows my love of sugar knows I would LOVE something like this.

I have found that most baby gadgets are expensive and never get used anyway... But I'm a big fan of the vibrating/bouncy chairs. May just does not stay asleep unless she's being held. The vibrating chair has provided the only way to put her down and keep her asleep... That is if her sister isn't around to wake her up!
